What kinds of non-woven fabrics are used for sanitary napkins, and what are the characteristics of such non-woven fabrics?
According to the production process of non-woven fabrics, the following fabrics can be used for sanitary napkins: thermal bonded non-woven fabrics, including hot-air non-woven fabrics and hot-rolled non-woven fabrics.
1. Hot air non-woven fabric: In the production of hot air non-woven fabric, a certain proportion of low melting point bonded fiber or two-component fiber should be mixed into the fiber mesh. After the fiber is combed, the hot air on the drying equipment is used to penetrate the fiber mesh, so that it is heated and bonded to produce non-woven fabric. The product features good bulkiness, softness and excellent permeability.
2. Hot rolled non-woven fabric: after the fibers are carding into a mesh, the low melting point fibers are melted by the roller (under certain high temperature and pressure) to form a mesh, so there will be rolling points on the surface. The product features light, thin and soft.
3. Spunlaced non-woven fabric: generally, the spunlaced fabric made of cotton can be used on the surface of sanitary napkin. It has good wear resistance, soft and skin friendly, and good water absorption (wet after use).
